SKINDRED Begin Demoing New Material
February 22, 2004SKINDRED, the Welsh band featuring former members of DUB WAR, are starting to demo "some killer new tracks in their new rehearsal space/recording studio," according to a post on the band's web site. There is currently no date set for the band to go into the studio to begin recording the follow-up to 2002's "Babylon". Among the cuts set to appear on the forthcoming CD are two of the tracks the group have been performing live during their recent shows: "A Cure for Cancer" and "Start First".
In related news, SOULFLY mainman Max Cavalera (ex-SEPULTURA) invited SKINDRED singer Benji during a recent promotional trip to record a program for the U.K. Sky music channel Scuzz TV, called "Demolition". Benji and Max spoke about their first demos and the experiences they had trying to get a record deal.
